Job summary

Fischer & Wieser Specialty Foods Inc., based in Fredericksburg, TX, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive profitable sales growth across the Southwest and Central regions. You will open doors with new customers, grow existing accounts, and collaborate with distributors, brokers, and other partners to expand our foodservice presence.

The role involves developing regional plans, managing a pipeline, and traveling about 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of successful sales experience in related industries.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts and grow existing business.
• Experience with distributors, brokers, or independent sales reps is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using CRM to manage customer relationships, opportunities and forecasts.
• Ability to manage a large geographic territory and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Comfort with multiple sales channels, with foodservice emphasis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales plan focused on revenue growth, distribution, and profitability.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with emphasis on foodservice.
• Manage and grow relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, brokers, retailers, and channel partners.
• Provide direction and performance expectations for brokers and sales reps.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and progress opportunities toward closing.
• Collaborate with pricing, promotions, launches, samples and customer programs.
• Travel as required to represent Fischer & Wieser at meetings and events.
• Report to Head of Sales and contribute to market insights and forecasts.
