Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Director of Food and Beverage for the West Region to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across managed communities. You will partner with boards, developers, and on-site teams to enhance resident experiences, drive revenue, and ensure financial accountability.

You will lead talent acquisition, develop SOPs, and implement best practices to ensure exceptional service and consistent performance across all properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in F&B Management or similar 4-year degree.
• Ten years progressive leadership responsibility in F&B.
• Strong financial skills for budgeting and P&L management.
• Deep understanding of bar, casual and upscale dining operations.
• Ability to work on site and cover vacancies when needed.
• Strong leadership, teaching, diagnostic and analytic skills.
• Results oriented with cost control and profitability focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operating expertise in F&B across the West Region.
• Drive F&B revenue and profitability with budget accountability.
• Develop SOPs and best practices to improve resident experiences.
• Create plans to support F&B programs with boards, developers, and management.
• Present strategic options and business plans to associations.
• Support growth and sales processes for communities with F&B ops.
• Lead recruitment and development of F&B teams.
• Manage F&B teams to maximize profitability and service culture.
• Be on site to cover for property position deficits.
