Job summary

Shea Properties is seeking a Floating Leasing Specialist to present and lease a community to prospective residents, provide excellent customer service, and participate in marketing efforts. The role supports the property management team, with potential assignments across the region to meet leasing goals.

Responsibilities include touring residents, processing rentals in Yardi, and maintaining office standards.

Qualifications

• Six months sales and/or customer service experience in at least one of the following industries: property management, hospitality, retail, real estate.
• Apartment leasing experience preferred
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Yardi preferred
• Basic math skills
• Time management and organization skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• College degree or some college preferred

Responsibilities

• Meets leasing goals by presenting and leasing the community to prospective residents.
• Handles customer inquiries by phone and email and follows up with leads.
• Inputs rentals and cancellations into Yardi accurately and timely.
• Prepares lease paperwork and move-in documents with residents.
• Greets visitors and conducts tours of models and the community.
• Maintains professional office presentation and coordinates move-in inspections.
