Job summary

Atrium Health Neurospine Network, LLC is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to float regionally across northern Greater Charlotte outpatient PT markets. You will support licensed therapists, implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress, ensuring care aligns with approved evaluations and goals.

You will document outcomes, assist with discharge planning, and participate in ongoing professional development while adapting to different clinic environments within the network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment and BLS certification.
• Strong communication and HIPAA-compliant practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in providing comprehensive patient care across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems.
• Review medical records and implement treatment plans with supervising therapist.
• Document progress notes and discharge summaries with proper co-signatures and on-time submission.
• Support discharge planning, home programs, and caregiver education.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
• Participate in professional development and evidence-based practice integration.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and adapt to regional needs.
