Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, assist with discharge planning, and help ensure compliant, high-quality care across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state(s) of employment.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Maintains continuing education requirements in accordance with applicable state professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care under supervision of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist with comprehensive patient care across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and progress treatments per evaluations and patient goals.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising therapist.
• Assist with discharge planning, home programs, and patient education as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with policies and timelines.
• Support a clean, safe treatment environment and equipment maintenance.
