Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to serve as a regional float in the northern Greater Charlotte outpatient rehabilitation market, including CNSA Huntersville and nearby clinics. This full-time role supports patient care across settings and requires collaboration with supervising therapists.

You will assist with therapeutic interventions, maintain accurate documentation, and adapt to varying clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Maintains continuing education requirements in accordance with applicable state professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Age-Appropriate Patient Care: provides care across the lifespan under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Supports Physical Therapists in comprehensive patient care across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems.
• Implements therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, mobility, and modalities with appropriate safety.
• Documents progress notes, discharge summaries, and communicates changes in patient condition per policy.
• Adapt to multiple clinics/locations and participate in float program per Enterprise guidelines.
