Atrium Health Neurospine Network, LLC is seeking a Regional Float Physical Therapist Assistant to support the northern Greater Charlotte outpatient physical therapy market, including CNSA Huntersville, CNSA Concord, AH PT Huntersville, MSKI PT Huntersville, AH PT Lincolnton/Denver, and AH PT Cabarrus.

The role provides assistance to licensed therapists across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems, with responsibilities for reviewing records, implementing

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in the states of employment.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Continuing education requirements per state standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Support therapists in comprehensive care across MSK, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and integumentary systems; review records and implement plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including education, exercises, gait training, functional mobility and modalities with appropriate indications/contraindications.
• Document progress notes, discharge summaries and patient education records accurately and timely.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and health care teams; participate in care conferences as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment and assist with coverage across multiple sites.
