Job summary

Mercy Regional Float Pool LPN is responsible for nursing care across Mercy’s St. Louis region, working nights in a full-time capacity. The role involves floating between facilities to support Med/Surg and related units, with a focus on assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, sign-on bonus, and education assistance to grow within Mercy’s family of hospitals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license in the hiring state ( Missouri ).
• One year bedside LPN experience for Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU etc.
• BLS required for Med Surg; ACLS/PALS for ED/CC; IV certification required.

Responsibilities

• Float between Mercy facilities in the St. Louis region.
• Provide nursing care per standards for adult/geriatric patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care during shifts.
• Support multiple units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED as needed.
