Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Regional Float Pool LPN for the East Region. The role involves floating among Mercy’s community hospitals across the St. Louis area, delivering bedside nursing care in Med/Surg, Orthopedics, ICU, ED and more.

You’ll work nights in a part‑time capacity with sign‑on bonuses, shift differentials, and tuition assistance. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits starting Day One, retirement plans, and opportunities to grow through on‑the‑job education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state.
• One year of recent bedside LPN experience to work Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU, etc.
• IV certification required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS as applicable.
• Stand/walk most of the time; ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Float between Mercy facilities in the East Region.
• Provide bedside nursing care and coordinate with diverse teams.
• Support Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Telemetry, ED, ICU and other units as needed.
