Job summary

Hogan Transportation Companies in Denver, CO is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales and account management for our full-service truck leasing and fleet contract maintenance offerings. This high-impact role focuses on developing new commercial clients, managing an active pipeline, and delivering value-driven solutions.

You will mentor branch rental sales personnel, work with internal teams, and execute sales and marketing strategies to exceed territory targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounting or equivalent working experience.
• 4+ years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
• Conduct in-depth customer needs assessments and deliver customized solutions.
• Develop positive business relationships within all levels of a client’s organization, including C level executives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve sales goals.
• Track and report sales activity using CRM tools.
• Effectively problem-solve complex customer concerns.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client operations and providing ongoing support and recommendations.
• Manage and retain customer contract renewals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
