Job summary

Hogan Transportation Companies in Atlanta, GA seeks an Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales performance for our contract leasing and fleet maintenance programs within an assigned territory. This senior role mentors branch rental sales staff and helps shape overall branch performance.

You will develop new contractual clients through outside sales and marketing, manage existing accounts, report using CRM, and collaborate with operations, credit, and service to ensure a seamless customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounting or equivalent working experience.
• 4+ years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Industry or tangent industry sales experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• No overnight travel required (occasional meeting at corporate HQ).
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol conviction in the past 3 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Conduct in-depth customer needs assessments and deliver customized solutions.
• Develop relationships with client organizations at all levels, including executives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to achieve sales goals.
• Track and report sales activity using CRM tools.
• Provide ongoing customer support and recommendations.
