Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Region Vehicle Maintenance Manager to oversee vehicle and container maintenance across multiple sites. The role leads and develops Maintenance Managers, driving safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring end-to-end inventory and regulatory compliance region-wide.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, budget adherence, and coordinating fleet metrics with regional leadership.

Qualifications

5 years of industry experience managing multiple locations.
CDL preferred.
SAP software and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight to Maintenance Managers across multiple locations, ensuring effective workforce planning and budget adherence.
Drive quarterly audits of preventive maintenance, road calls, warranty recovery, and parts inventory at each location.
Ensure all maintenance operations meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards and comply with company policy across sites.
Build department capability through hiring, training, and performance management within budgeted hours.
Own maintenance financial performance and coordinate with location managers on costs across repairs, personnel, purchasing, and inventory.
Maintain fleet-wide DOT compliance and oversee vehicle inspections and repairs.
Ensure efficient garage operations across locations and timely completion of responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
