Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the West Division Finance team. This role will support the Pacific Region by performing financial statement, commercial, operational, capital expenditure and other strategic analyses, while ensuring regional adherence to financial controls.

Responsibilities include transforming data into insights, producing executive presentations, and performing due-diligence for investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or strategy.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into information, information into insights and insights into value creation.
• Inform business decisions and improvement priorities through ongoing quantitative analysis, KPIs, tool development and insights generation.
• Transform conceptual questions into data-driven insights to drive organizational success.
• Assist in developing executive presentations for local leadership to C-Suite audiences.
• Provide due-diligence support for organic investment opportunities based on return thresholds.
• Build and maintain relationships across the organization with internal customers and peers.
• Support other strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by management.
• Partner on GAAP adherence, compliance with financial controls, and accurate billing/payments.
