Job summary

Lodging Dynamics is seeking a Regional Controller to oversee the financial operations of a cluster of hotels within a defined region in the United States. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with accounting standards, collaborating closely with hotel GMs, corporate Finance, and external auditors.

You will lead property-level accounting teams, drive monthly closes, develop regional budgets, and provide ROI analysis for new initiatives, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance roles in hospitality.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

Leads and supervises financial operations for all hotels within the assigned region, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Prepares consolidated financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow analyses).
Develops and manages the annual budget process for all properties in the assigned region.
Monitors performance against budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
Ensures compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Oversees audits (internal and external) and implements corrective measures as needed.
