Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Training & Development Lead to design and manage LMS-based programs for venues, collaborating with multiple departments to improve coaching, onboarding, and compliance.

You will lead training initiatives, develop managers, and drive engagement while ensuring brand standards and operational excellence across venues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates in Business or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of LMS administration experience.
  • Advanced computer and office skills (MS Word, Google).
  • Extensive knowledge of Alamo policies, training programs, and daily operations.
  • Professional appearance and positive role-model behavior.
  • Proven leadership and motivational skills.
  • Exceptional coaching and development skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident public speaking for groups.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, communicate, and execute training and development programs for venue teammates and managers.
  • Enhance efficiency, productivity, practices, and alignment with brand objectives, values, and goals.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to ensure venues have appropriate manager support.
  • Assist by working manager shifts as needed, including at least one Manager shift per week.
  • Provide venue support, including floor support, teammate hiring, and teammate discipline.
  • Maintain and develop hourly teammate training programs.
  • Maintain compliance, safety, and culture standards.
  • Develop managers and facilitate New Teammate Orientations, Training the Trainer sessions, and Department Training Meetings.
  • Measure NPS and assist with action plans for common issues.
  • Execute brand initiatives and rollouts.
  • Deliver advanced training for Shift Leaders, Trainers, and Key Hourlies.
  • Monitor turnover rates to measure hiring and training quality.
  • Build and assign Reel LMS modules based on local initiatives.
  • Use Reel LMS message boards to enhance venue communication.
  • Use Reel LMS reporting to validate online training.
  • Facilitate MIT checkpoints, provide feedback, and conduct 1:1s after training completion.
  • Execute training audits to uphold training practices, brand standards, and required signage.
  • Introduce engagement opportunities to create a positive working environment.
  • Collaborate with Operations, F&B, Guest Experience, Facilities, Marketing, Programming, and other departments.

Requirements


  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Associates in Business or equivalent real-world experience

  • 1+ years of LMS administration experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Alamo policies, training programs, and daily operations

  • Proven leadership and motivational skills
