Job summary

Tomorrow’s Talent is seeking a facilitator to lead workforce readiness workshops and engage diverse student groups on campus or at partner sites. You will deliver sessions, adapt materials for different ages, and provide coaching to individuals and small groups.

The role focuses on professionalism, communication, and career readiness, with emphasis on interactive activities and accurate record-keeping of participant progress.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Reliable transportation for site visits, employer visits, events, and in-person activities.
  • Ability to facilitate engaging presentations and connect with diverse student audiences.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, arrive prepared, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.

Job description

  • Facilitate workforce readiness workshops using Tomorrow’s Talent’s pre-designed curriculum
  • Deliver sessions on professionalism, communication, workplace etiquette, problem-solving, teamwork, conflict resolution, goal setting, and career readiness
  • Adapt lesson plans, activities, and examples for different classrooms, student groups, learning styles, and age levels
  • Lead interactive activities, discussions, role-play exercises, and real-world scenarios
  • Provide individual and small group coaching, encouragement, and constructive feedback
  • Observe participation, informally assess progress, and document readiness, engagement, and skill development
  • Collect attendance, student feedback, workshop outcomes, and other required program information
  • Enter and maintain accurate data, case notes, participation records, progress updates, and reporting documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, program coordinators, and Tomorrow’s Talent team members on scheduling, logistics, communication, and program delivery
  • Support events including field trips, employer visits, trainings, conferences, advisory events, skills panels, job fairs, and career-connected learning activities
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, schools, employers, clients, subcontractors, and community partners
  • Represent Tomorrow’s Talent professionally in classrooms, school sites, employer settings, and community events
  • Perform additional program, training, administrative, or event-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Reliable transportation required for school site visits, employer visits, events, and other assigned in-person activities
  • Ability to facilitate engaging presentations and connect with diverse student audiences
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, arrive prepared, and follow through on assigned responsibilities
  • Comfort using virtual meeting platforms, email, shared documents, databases, and other program systems
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, enter data, and document student participation and program outcomes
  • Ability to communicate professionally in writing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle student, program, and partner information with care
  • Positive, dependable, flexible, and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience in youth development, education, workforce development, coaching, mentoring, training, public speaking, or group leadership preferred
  • Experience working with students, young adults, schools, community programs, or career readiness programs preferred
  • Familiarity with employability skills, workplace readiness, internships, work-based learning, or career technical education preferred
  • Experience facilitating workshops, classroom activities, small groups, or student-facing sessions preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
  • May be appropriate for a college internship or early-career opportunity
