Job summary

T2 Systems, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Field Technician to service and implement PARCS hardware and software while providing ongoing direct support to customers.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting software, hardware, OS, network, database issues; developing/test plans; performing on-site installations and commissioning; and coordinating with Sales Engineers and Project Managers to meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years' experience as a service technician in Manufacturing/Security/Electronics/Parking or Transportation industries.
• Experience in software/firmware environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for PARCS software and hardware.
• Assist Sales Engineers and Project Managers with technical requirements and installation plans.
• Develop and oversee test plans to verify hardware/software performance per contract obligations.
• Document test results and maintain install and support documentation.
• Travel multi-state area (IN, KY, IL, MI; occasional WI/MI) for installations and service.
• Maintain professional demeanor and knowledge transfer to customers and staff.
