Job summary

ABB is seeking a Service Operations Leader in the United States to drive Field Service Management for the Automation Energy Industries Central region. You will lead a regional team of field service engineers, ensure compliance, and coordinate delivery of services, small projects, and upgrades.

The role emphasizes strong customer relationships, budget awareness, and timely execution, within a hybrid work model. A detailed background in relevant ABB systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a two-year degree with substantial related experience.
• Experience with 800xA, Harmony/Symphony Plus, or ABB heritage control systems.
• Knowledge of ABB Field Service tools and methodologies.
• General knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, Process Instrumentation, and networking protocols.
• English communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Champion health, safety, environmental, security, and regulatory compliance across field service activities.
• Lead and develop a regional team of field service professionals with effective resource planning and performance management.
• Drive financial and contract execution, ensuring adherence to budgets and productivity targets.
• Oversee field service activities, small projects, and upgrades with quality and schedule adherence.
• Build trusted customer relationships to improve satisfaction and regional business performance.
