Job summary

Professions-Inc seeks a Field Service Engineer/Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support industrial packaging equipment across the Greater Wichita, KS area. You will work closely with customers, sales and technical teams to ensure successful installations and service delivery.

Qualifications

At least five years of hands-on technical/field service experience.
Experience installing, servicing, repairing, or demonstrating industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude with fabrication skills (cutting, drilling, modification).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, set up, test, and commission industrial packaging equipment at customer facilities.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and controls-related issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and after-sales technical support.
Train customers on equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance.
