Isuzu Motors America LLC is seeking a seasoned technical support engineer to serve the Latin America and Caribbean region, ensuring timely diagnosis and repair, reducing downtime for dealers, and enhancing service capabilities.

You will collaborate with dealer technicians, analyze field quality issues, manage TIR activities, and coordinate with IML on escalation and corrective actions. Strong diagnostics, English/Spanish fluency, and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive or electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle diagnostics or related automotive field.
• ASE certifications and/or OEM certifications preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to dealer technicians and service managers for troubleshooting, failure analysis and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Review and validate TIRs, investigate product concerns, identify field quality trends, and support corrective actions.
• Review ARs, goodwill requests and warranty matters; approve ARs per policies and maintain approval records.
• Conduct field investigations and root-cause analysis; perform vehicle inspections and coordinate parts collection for IML analysis.
• Communicate technical service bulletins and field feedback to publication teams; support training materials development.
• Travel to support distributors and dealers (15%–25%), including overnight stays.
