Yancey Bros. Co. in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Business Development Representative to support Product Support Sales Representatives by selling parts and service solutions to customers in the Brunswick and Kingsland area.

This role will be based at our new facility and involves building relationships with customers and driving new business opportunities. Ideal candidates have sales experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and enjoy working in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, competitiveness and sense of urgency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Presentation, organizational and problem solving abilities.
• Strong teamwork and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage while maintaining in-store presence for walk-in customers.
• Sell BCP/CCE attachments to new accounts.
• Create quality leads through cold calling, social selling, email, and networking.
• Focus on generating new business opportunities and build a pipeline.
• Shadow necessary departments at Yancey Bros.
• Call unassigned accounts and prospect new business.
• Visit customers in the field for demonstrations and prospecting.
• Document coverage activities within the CRM.
• Participate in team selling as needed.
• Understand competitive products to sell against features.
• Learn and sell value of products and services.
• Complete foundational training packet.
• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
