Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Business Development Representative to assist Product Support Sales Representatives by selling parts and service solutions to customers in the Brunswick and Kingsland areas.

You will collaborate with PSSRs and Service Teams from a new state-of-the-art facility. The role emphasizes developing relationships with customers, cold calling, networking, and walking the line between sales and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage while maintaining retail presence for walk-in customers.
• Sell BCP/CCE attachments to new accounts.
• Create quality leads through cold calling, social selling, email, and networking.
• Generate new business opportunities for the company.
• Build a pipeline of accounts as a BDR 2.
• Shadow necessary departments at Yancey Bros.
• Call unassigned accounts and prospect for new business.
• Visit customers in the field for demonstrations and prospecting.
• Document activities in the CRM.
• Participate in team selling as needed.
• Prepare quotes as required.
• Understand competitive products and sell against features.
• Learn and sell value of products and services.
• Complete foundational training packet.
