Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a Washington State Area Manager to drive sales across Washington, Idaho and Oregon. You will manage dealer relationships, perform category management, and use CRM tools to track progress while traveling up to 40–50% of the time.

The role requires 1–3 years in outside sales, a business degree or equivalent, and strong communication skills. A company car, benefits, and a pension plan support the position.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of outside sales experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to manage own time, schedule, and sales territory
• Willingness to travel 40–50% within territory
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Bilingual candidates encouraged
• Proficiency with MS Teams, Excel, Power BI, SAP, and CRM tools

Responsibilities

• Increase sales within dealer/retailer base using category management
• Identify customer needs to guide product and planogram recommendations
• Develop and follow a time and territory management plan to maximize coverage
• Utilize CRM tools to track calls and progress
• Provide merchandising, pricing, and promotional support to dealers
• Attend grand-openings, in-store events, and trade shows as required
• Collaborate with internal/external customers to meet deadlines
• Analyze territory performance and create business plans
• Prepare reports and communicate insights to stakeholders
