Job summary

Black Duck is seeking a Regional Field Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and engage with C-level and technical leaders at strategic accounts. You will translate AI-driven platform capabilities into credible technical narratives and represent the company as a thought leader across the industry.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in a senior technical leadership role, including customer-facing or field/pre-sales experience.
• Proven track record influencing C-level and senior technical audiences at enterprise organizations.
• Domain expertise in application security (SAST, SCA, DAST), cloud/SaaS platforms, APIs and integrations.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts as applied to security and responsible adoption.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear stories for executives and technical audiences.
• Experience traveling to customer sites and industry events up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor for C-level and senior stakeholders across strategic accounts.
• Lead multidisciplinary technical engagements, including executive briefings and architecture reviews.
• Represent Black Duck as a technical evangelist for the platform and roadmap.
• Translate platform AI/ML capabilities into credible narratives for technical and executive audiences.
• Partner with Sales on enterprise opportunities, deep-dives, and product roadmap discussions.
• Support RFPs and security questionnaires with authoritative technical input.
