Job summary

Sigma Computing is seeking a Field CTO to lead the technical narrative and AI strategy for its enterprise opportunities. You will work with Solution Architects, Engineers, and Sales Leaders to win major accounts by articulating architecture, governance, and AI patterns.

You will mentor teams, influence product direction, and represent Sigma's AI runtime in customer and industry forums. This role requires executive presence and deep data and security expertise.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in BI/analytics or data platform roles with leadership experience.
• At least 5 years in customer-facing technical leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in one cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or Redshift).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical narrative across the territory and win enterprise deals.
• Lead executive-level architecture and AI strategy conversations with CTOs, CDOs, CISOs.
• Run deep technical discovery and architecture workshops to unblock opportunities.
• Lead security architecture discussions (PrivateLink, OAuth, SAML, SCIM) and governance.
• Present Sigma's architecture and AI runtime story to executives and analysts.
• Own the technical position on the hardest RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
• Advise on integration, migration, governance, and AI patterns across major warehouses.
• Shape product direction from field insights and mentor SAs/SEs.
