Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for automation, control and networking products in the Mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee). You will collaborate with the sales team to drive growth, develop campaigns and deliver product demonstrations.

The role requires travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to work from a home office with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year degree; technical discipline preferred.
• 3 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across automation, control, and networking portfolio.
• Collaborate with local sales team and mutual action plans to advance products.
• Act as local technical representative for product lines and support sales on technical matters.
• Develop sales tools, collateral and campaigns; drive value-added applications.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and provide regular reports.
