Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking an Area Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations and preventative maintenance programs across the assigned Rumpke area. You will plan, manage, and execute capital improvement projects and serve as a key partner to RVPs, Site Managers and Regional Facilities staff to ensure facilities are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.

The role requires capital project leadership, budgeting, vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, maintenance management, project management, or related field.
• Experience managing multiple projects across geographically dispersed locations.
• Experience obtaining bids, negotiating vendor agreements, and managing capital projects.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP is a plus including project tracking, Purchase Orders, and Maintenance Order processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility capital improvement and maintenance projects across the assigned regions.
• Develop project scopes and specifications and obtain vendor quotations.
• Oversee projects from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout.
• Coordinate with operations leadership to minimize business disruption during project execution.
