Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking an Area Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations and capital projects across the assigned territory. You will partner with regional leaders to plan, budget, and execute maintenance and capital improvements, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires at least five years in facilities or project management, strong budgeting, and the ability to manage multiple projects in dispersed locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of facilities/maintenance/project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects across geographically dispersed locations.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility capital improvement and maintenance projects across regions.
• Develop project scopes, obtain competitive vendor quotations, and evaluate proposals.
• Oversee budgeting, planning, and project closeout with operations leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Supervise 1–5 staff and collaborate with site managers and regional facilities teams.
