Job summary

The Maryland Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Facilities Management (OFM), seeks a seasoned leader to fill the Superintendent for the Multi-Service Center (MSC) Region. This role directs day-to-day operations and maintenance across the MSC Region to ensure buildings are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

This Emergency Essential position requires readiness for duty at all hours and involves coordinating with vendors, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and leading a diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Five years supervising large public building operations.
• Three years in fiscal planning, contract negotiations, and supervision of maintenance staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all activities related to managing buildings in the MSC region.
• Develops short- and long-term plans for buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
