Job summary

ICBD, Fort Lauderdale, is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations and maintenance across the region. You will lead local facility teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with vendors to drive efficiency and cost control.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and safety knowledge. On-site work in the Fort Lauderdale area with travel as needed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5–8 years of facilities management experience, with 2–3 years in multi-site regional leadership.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security).
• Proven budget management and vendor relationship experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities within the assigned region.
• Develop and enforce maintenance schedules and SOPs.
• Ensure properties comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise local facility managers, technicians, and custodial staff.
• Coordinate staffing plans and hiring needs.
