Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to lead facilities maintenance across a local regional market, moving beyond servicing one building to own facility performance across multiple locations while leading and developing a team of skilled technicians.

HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license required with EPA Universal Certification, and 3–5 years in facilities or related fields, plus strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or a related field.
• HVAC/R mechanical knowledge strong.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
