Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to lead facilities maintenance across a local regional market. This role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA Certification, with 3–5 years in facilities or mechanical maintenance and strong leadership.

You will build and coach a team of technicians, oversee HVAC/R and building maintenance across multiple locations, and partner with store managers to optimize facility performance.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in your state
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3–5 years in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge
• Leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate and develop others

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed; maintain contractor licensing and ensure compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
