Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dynamic Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for our facilities within a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate efficiently, safely for associates and customers.

This role involves budget oversight, vendor coordination, reporting, and recruiting. A strong leadership mindset, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with EPA, PMP, and Lean Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees predictive and preventative maintenance of multiple facilities within the region (usually <200 miles).
• Directly leads technicians (10–15 direct reports).
• Travel 50% or more within the region.
• Oversees budget and workload; reports and analytics.
• Recruiting and hiring of technicians; works with store managers and vendors.
