Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a dynamic Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of its facilities in a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient, safe, and sustainable buildings for associates and customers.

The role requires ~50% regional travel, collaboration with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, and external vendors. Relevant licenses and certifications are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians, coordinating with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Work with vendors and contractors as needed; ensure reporting and analytics.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and ensure compliance with authorities.
• Assist in training to meet latest regulatory requirements; conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and schedule inspections and permits as mandated by applicable codes.
