Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a dynamic Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventive maintenance of Walmart facilities in a regional area.

You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate safely, efficiently, and sustainably while delivering a great environment for associates and customers. The role requires significant travel within the region and close collaboration with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Or 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Current HI C-13 Electrical Contractor License, in good standing.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or training is a plus.
• Licensing requirements vary by state; reciprocal licenses may apply.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region around 50% or more.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain reporting and analytics for facilities programs.
• Keep contractor licenses up to date and in good standing.
• Participate in training on regulatory requirements and site inspections.
