Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking an Apprentice, Facilities Manager to lead a regional team of Facilities Specialists and oversee minor remodels and reinvestment work. You will mentor FS staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with the regional Ops team and vendors to maintain high standards.

The role requires ownership mentality, strong supervisory skills, travel ability, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university preferred.
• Have Facilities experience in either the Specialist or Manager role.
• Have knowledge of and the ability to perform the Facilities Specialist job.
• Possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Be able to identify top performers, empower team, develop leaders, ensure high standards.
• Ownership mentality and alignment with Chipotle culture.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and proficient with PC tools like Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Facilities related items within a microregion, including 4-6 direct reports.
• Ensure regional Facilities Specialists meet budgetary requirements for M&R and address discrepancies.
• Mentor and develop FS staff, recognizing and rewarding performance.
• Lead the Facilities Specialist’s performance and Ownership within their region.
• Maintain FS inventory levels, vehicle cleanliness, uniform standards, and timely paperwork.
• Ensure policy compliance across people, safety, assets, travel, inventory, and p-card processes.
• Empower FS staff to meet high standards through field visits and vendor management.
• Communicate clearly with Wynkoop staff, property management, lease administration, and field leadership.
• Oversee minor remodel projects from scoping to budgeting and approvals.
