Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking an Apprentice, Facilities Manager to oversee a regional group of Facilities Specialists. You will manage daily M&R tasks, mentor FS staff, and lead minor remodel projects in alignment with budget and policy standards.

You will work closely with the FM and regional Ops to forecast budgets, communicate across departments, and ensure high service quality with vendors and restaurant teams. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Facilities experience in either Specialist or Manager role.
• Knowledge of Facilities Specialist job functions.
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify top performers and empower teams.
• Familiarity with Chipotle culture and ownership mentality.
• Proven mentoring and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in PC tools (Excel, Word, Reporting Services).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Facilities related items within a microregion (4-6 direct reports).
• Ensure regional FS meet budgetary compliance for M&R and address discrepancies.
• Mentor and develop FS staff; drive performance and ownership.
• Maintain FS inventory, vehicle cleanliness, uniform standards, and timely paperwork.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures across departments.
• Empower FS to uphold high standards and vendor relations.
• Lead minor remodel projects scoped by Regional FM and coordinate with departments.
• Attend kickoff calls when FM is unavailable.
