Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Manager I, Regional Facilities to oversee facilities operations across the greater St. Louis region, including Central Illinois and Southeast Missouri.

You will lead maintenance, vendor relationships, and capital projects to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient buildings. The role requires 6+ years in property/facilities management, 3+ years of leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of facilities management and building operating systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Willingness to be on call and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in related field is required; 6+ years of property/facilities management experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional facilities operations for assigned locations, including property operations, maintenance, vendor relationships, capital projects, budgets and facility conditions.
• Oversee contracted personnel and outside vendors, including bidding, contract preparation, scheduling and completion of routine maintenance, capital replacement projects and emergency repairs.
• Conduct or oversee facility inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs, ensure safe and attractive facilities, and support long-term asset management.
• Manage facilities support for regional ATM locations, drive-through equipment and related banking infrastructure.
• Direct emergency response, restoration efforts, and critical facility repairs to maintain business operations and ensure the safety of employees and customers.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, preventive maintenance plans and facility data for assigned locations.
• Maintain accurate facility records, asset information and physical property data for assigned locations.
• Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects or issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs.
