Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and maintenance for a large healthcare client within a designated region. The role requires residence in Norfolk, VA or Richmond, VA with occasional travel to SC and up to 15% travel.

You will supervise staff, manage daily activities, and develop policies to meet contract specs while coordinating with clients and senior leadership on regional performance and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in Healthcare Facilities leadership preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate team and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities and cross-train staff.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure contract specifications are fulfilled.
• Prepare presentations to obtain approval for projects and budget planning.
• Create strategic facility management objectives for clients and generate capital projects and budgets.
• Inspect facilities periodically for quality assurance and ensure compliance with regulations.
