Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on in-office leadership.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations while driving revenue and performance. Occasional travel to multiple offices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations leadership role.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative service.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience managing change and adoption of new processes.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement actions.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand.
