Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to supervise 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a high-quality client experience across all locations and readiness to serve clients with excellence.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive operational and business results with hands-on leadership and disciplined execution. Travel between offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams in retail/service/operations.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing multi-location operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and seasonal staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and results.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in client acquisition/retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, and seasonal demand planning.
