Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and drive a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, ensuring readiness in staffing, facilities, and operations.

You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, align priorities with business results, and travel between offices to maintain in-person presence and performance excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline and consistency.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and drive improvements.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistent performance.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client retention.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, compliance, and daily operations across offices.
