Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong business results.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with in-office presence and ensuring office readiness, staffing, and compliance across locations.

Travel between offices to maintain in-person leadership and support client outcomes and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and implement improvements.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations and coaching.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office and workforce readiness including facilities and onboarding.
