Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Regional Estimating Manager to lead estimating services across the East Buildings + Places business. This position will be based in one of our regional offices and oversee estimating resources across multiple locations.

The successful candidate will manage regional estimating workloads, maintain estimating quality, support project delivery, and drive capabilities, including AI, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency while building client relationships with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
10 years of construction cost estimating experience or demonstrated equivalency.
2 years managing or supervising estimating staff or an estimating function.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Experience leading client meetings and presenting estimates to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor estimators across multiple offices, including hiring, performance management, and development.
Balance workload across offices to meet project schedules and engage subcontractors when needed.
Expand the regional estimating group in line with business growth.
Lead evaluation and adoption of AI and other estimating technologies; ensure staff are trained.
Lead cost reviews, design charrettes with clients, and develop estimating portions of proposals.
