Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Regional Estimating Manager to lead estimating services across the East Buildings + Places business. This role will oversee staffing, quality, and client interactions across multiple offices, including cost reviews and proposals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong estimating background, leadership experience, and the ability to coordinate across regions while pursuing new tools and technologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; 10 years estimating experience.
• 2 years supervising estimating staff or an estimating function.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience leading client meetings and presenting estimates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of construction methods, labor productivity, and material and equipment costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead team leadership: manage estimators across multiple offices, hiring, performance, and development.
• Balance workload across offices to meet schedules and engage subcontractors as needed.
• Expand the regional estimating group in line with business growth.
• Lead evaluation/adoption of AI and estimating technologies; train staff.
• Oversee estimates through all design phases, including cost risk analyses.
• Establish estimating procedures and quality review standards.
• Prepare and review estimates on select projects.
• Serve as primary contact for estimating services regionally.
• Lead cost reviews and design charrettes with clients; present estimates.
