Job summary

Baptist Health in New Albany, IN seeks an experienced ER Float Team RN for PRN night shifts. The RN will apply the nursing process, coordinate direct and indirect care, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Requirements include an active Kentucky RN license, BCLS, ACLS and PALS, 2-3 years ER experience, NIHSS. TNCC preferred. Baptist Health is an Equal Opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (infancy to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works).
• He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Baptist Health emergency departments.
• Responsibilities will commensurate with the education preparation and demonstrated competencies.
