Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks an Area Equipment Manager in Jasper, TX to oversee equipment and fleet assets across the region, focusing on safety, reliability and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with leadership, manage P&L, and drive maintenance and capital planning.

The role requires hands-on management, strategic CapEx planning, and strong stakeholder engagement to improve fleet utilization and ownership costs. Travel up to 70% within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree; 5+ years equipment management experience.
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems.
• Experience managing P&L responsibilities.
• Experience in mining, construction, or manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Equipment Managers in repair and maintenance decision-making.
• Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency while maintaining equipment availability.
• Maintain open communication with end users and stakeholders via multiple channels.
• Visit stakeholder locations regularly to identify opportunities and provide support.
• Develop and execute five-year CapEx strategy for equipment replacement.
• Partner with Equipment Managers and dealers to strengthen supplier relationships.
• Optimise asset lifecycle management across the region.
• Champion new software and processes; support change management initiatives.
• Represent the area on divisional and national equipment teams.
