Job summary

STV is seeking a senior environmental engineering leader to guide multiple regional projects in New York. You will manage teams, drive project delivery, and shape the practice toward greater innovation and efficiency.

The role requires a PE license and substantial experience in environmental regulations, remediation design, and client engagement, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in environmental or civil engineering; New York State PE license required; additional licensure is a plus.
• Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in environmental regulations, environmental investigation, remediation design and compliance, with environmental construction support experience.
• Proficiency in environmental modeling software, GIS, AutoCAD, and other relevant technical tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead and project manager on environmental projects in the region.
• Assess the existing team talent and grow the practice; add staff as necessary.
• Lead environmental engineering and design projects with strategic direction and alignment to company goals.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and contractors to obtain permits and support remediation projects.
• Develop client relationships and lead business development efforts, including proposals and negotiations.
