Job summary

STV Incorporated in New York, NY, seeks an Environmental Engineering Director to lead a regional portfolio of environmental engineering and design projects. You will manage staff development, budgets, schedules, and quality while driving innovation and client relationships.

Qualifications include a BS in environmental or civil engineering, a NY PE license, and 15+ years of related experience with strong leadership, regulatory, and technical skills in GIS and AutoCAD. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

BS in environmental or civil engineering; NY PE license required.
15+ years of experience in environmental regulation, remediation design and project management.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, remediation technologies, and industry best practices.
Proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD and related tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and regulators.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental engineering and design projects across the NY region.
Manage people, their development, and project teams to deliver on time and budget.
Support business development, including proposals and client presentations.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders for permits and approvals.
Sign and seal design documents as a Professional Engineer.
