Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for the Environmental Services team in New York to lead permitting efforts for NYS electric transmission and renewable energy projects. You will supervise staff and coordinate with clients and regulators to deliver complex environmental permits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural resources management, wetland science, and regulatory compliance, with 5+ years of environmental consulting and project management experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science Degree in the natural sciences, natural resource management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting and project management experience.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience related to natural resource management, environmental planning, and/or related field(s).

Responsabilidades

• Environmental regulatory and permitting responsibilities include identifying project-specific environmental regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with resource agency personnel and preparing permit applications.
• Developing environmental permit applications and presenting at public meetings.
• Leading project delivery, budgeting, and client/stakeholder coordination.
• Mentoring staff and supporting business development efforts.
